Ministries

Our Ministry Focus has always been to Seek God’s will and submit to the great commission as found in Matthew 28:18-20.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”

Below are several ways God is using this ministry to help us to achieve this purpose:

La Vega Christian School. The founding of the first Evangelical school in the city of La Vega.  Classes Pre-K to 12th grade are taught. Over 300 children currently in attendance. Learn More.

Seminario Biblico Vegano.  We teach at this Bible Institute and train Christian workers who feel a call to the ministry in their lives.  Debbie teaches Education and Missions materials, and my concentration is Bible and Missions. Learn More.

Haitian School Programs. Because of the tremendous need for the education of Haitian immigrants and their children, we are currently involved in financing and caring for six different Haitian educational projects in the La Vega province.  Working with Haitian pastors we insure that the message of Christ is presented along with developing the learning skills that will insure a bright future for these children. Church Planting.  Currently we are involved in helping three different church starts in our area.  We are actually pastoring one of the new works ourselves. In the past we have helped to plant three other works.  We also help area churches with construction needs by channeling US work teams to partner with needy congregations to build churches. Child Sponsorships or The Ruthie Martinez Children’s Fund provides help for scholarships for needy children to attend a private school, and also helps with Haitian school programs in the area.  Other misc. needs are aided by this fund.Unidos Por El Youth event.  Yearly we are involved in producing a series of youth concerts called United for Him.  With the help of contemporary Christian music artists, every weekend in February, we celebrate this event with music and messages geared to today’s generation.  This is an alternative to the morally devastating Carnival (Mardi Gras-like) events celebrated here in this city on those days.
